Janet is always so well prepared. During her learning sessions, we worked as a group, with partners, and had independent reflection time. All was done well and was helpful. (secondary teacher)
This was exceptional professional development - we talked, moved, practiced, and learned in a variety of ways. (elementary teacher)
The instructor and the information presented was thought-provoking, useful, and will move my department (and hopefully, school building) ahead. (middle school teacher)
Janet is amazing. I learned a lot, and I am a better teacher and department chair and coach because of this work. (secondary teacher)
Janet Crews is great. Great speaker, very informational, knows the material, is easy to listen to, engaging. (elementary teacher)
Janet's classes are always great. She gets us up and moving. Allows for reflection and work on practices (support staff)
This session was very hands on and Janet was wonderful at explaining the why and how of every activity. There were opportunities to interact with the majority of the individuals throughout the sessions. This session provided information that can be directly used in my role starting on day one, with little to no prep. The information will allow me to be a better facilitator and increase the capacity of my role moving into this school year. (elementary coach)
Janet continues to enlighten me to how I can best help our students and the district grow in our understanding of mutual respect and collaborative thinking. There were many times where I wished I had this background in my previous roles. I appreciate all that Janet has done for our building and district. (high school principal)
This was an EXCELLENT session! I learned so much that I can bring back to my building and work from today. (middle school teacher)
Coming in unfamiliar with the process, Janet laid the groundwork/framework in a clear manner, outlining on a daily basis where we were to begin - not only as a daily practice but as a broader scope for the course/material. I feel that the incorporated practice sessions, as well as the video exemplars helped meet my needs as a learner to attempt and witness what sessions could possibly look like. As this is my first experience, I feel that my experience as a learner has been supported. (high school principal)
Some of the best PD I've ever been a part of! (middle school teacher)
I learned things that I can literally use tomorrow, and I also have a better idea of ways to incorporate more play in my classes. Always great information from Janet. (high school teacher)
This seminar was so beneficial! I really appreciated the content and the way Janet taught us and modeled how to access information and apply it. This was well worth the time and money invested. Thank you very much! (middle school academic dean)
These sessions meet my needs as a learner as they provided a great balance of new information and opportunities to practice putting the learning into action. The learning objectives were always clear and the sessions all felt very productive. (early childhood educator)
